Welcome to Our New Hampshire Bed and Breakfast

For 30 years, this impressive Holderness bed and breakfast, just minutes from Squam Lake, has been the choice of discerning travelers looking for a warm and inviting New Hampshire lodging experience. Located at the northern edge of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region and in the foothills of the White Mountains, the Inn On Golden Pond was originally built as a beautiful, private colonial home. As an eight-room country inn, it has been expanded and refurbished to provide the modern amenities that today’s traveler expects and deserves. The Squam area including the neighboring towns of Plymouth, Meredith, Ashland, Sandwich and Center Harbor offers the quintessential New Hampshire experience.

Here the rustic appeal of New Hampshire and the convenience of the 21st century meet. Imagine being surrounded by 50 wooded acres, but only 3 miles from I-93. Imagine seeing a black bear while eating breakfast and within minutes using our wireless internet service to share the experience with friends anywhere in the world. Imagine a day of hiking in the wilderness or kayaking in secluded coves followed by an evening enjoying a world class theater performance or the exquisite food of a gourmet restaurant. Or imagine a day of endless business meetings and constant calls offset by a night where the only calls you’ll hear are those of loons and the only thing endless is the number of stars sparkling in our country sky.

Whether you’re trying to leave it all behind or trying to pack it all in the Inn On Golden Pond is the spot for you. The perfect New Hampshire getaway – just as you imagined it.

The rooms are all comfortable and are decorated in typical New England fashion. Towels were changed every day, which was a nice touch that you don’t always get at 4-star hotels these days. Bonnie is a wonderful cook and her breakfasts really set you up for the day especially when coupled with leisurely chats with Bonnie, Bill & other guests from around the world. We stayed for 7 nights and didn’t have the same breakfast twice.”
