Inn on Golden Pond, which has delighted countless guests over the years with its quaint charm and scenic views. The Academy Award-winning movie, “On Golden Pond,” starring Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn, was filmed on nearby idyllic Squam Lake in 1981. Many guests enjoy taking tours of the Lake, where they can view the numerous filming sites from the celebrated and well-loved movie. Guests can enjoy a delicious meal at nearby Walter’s Basin, a restaurant named after the trout that Billy catches with Norman in the film.
