Winter & Spring Activities
Winter is a great season in the Squam Lakes region. Snow blankets the hillsides and the lake waters turn to ice creating a special sense of peace and tranquility. Winter sports abound throughout the area. And there is nothing like settling down in our sitting room next to a crackling fire with a cup of hot chocolate after an afternoon of skating, or skiing (downhill or cross country) or taking a horse drawn sleigh ride.
